Guided Walk Into The Past

MEET AT THE BOTTEM OF PIKI MAI (CHURCH STEPS), Top of Trafalgar Street, Nelson

PLEASE NOTE: There are two walks, one 11am-1pm and the other 2pm-4pm.

Free but bookings are required, email shaeana.r.robson@gmail.com to indicate whether you would like to join the morning or afternoon session. Maximum 20 people.

This guided tour of the Nelson CBD will share pūrākau (stories)and mātauranga (knowledge) about our people, places and taonga from a mana whenua perspective. This will be an interactive session where we learn and share each other’s cultures along the way. Bring an open heart, suitable footwear, drink bottle/snack (optional), and dress for the weather on the day. Your guide is Shaeana Robson. Titiro whakamuri, haere whakamua (look into the past was we journey towards the future).
